Commissioning world-renowned Spanish master architect Alberto Campo Baeza, Sumaida + Khurana and Bizzi + Bilgili replaces South of Fifth's Burger King with a Class A+ office building that will offer five stories and about 60,000 square feet of rentable office spaces, alongside a monumental marble lobby and an exquisite biophilic design incorporating outdoor elements in its chic interiors.
The Fifth will also offer 14-foot ceilings throughout office floors, open and flexible floorplans, floor-to-ceiling windows, individual outdoor terraces, a large outdoor atrium, and amenities like a private landscaped rooftop, a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa, multiple food and beverage options, and valet parking.
The latest news is that this awaited luxury office tower found its first tenant, despite offering some of the highest rents ever seen in the market, New York-based hedge fund J. Goldman & Co!

Is SoFi South Beach's NEW Dining Mecca?

In recent years, more famous restaurants, trendy cafes, and unique dining spots have been popping up in South of Fifth, leading tourists and locals to wonder, "Is SoFi South Beach's new "place to be" for the best dining experience?"
While we have no way to confirm it, it's not pretty far-fetched, considering that SoFi just added a new batch to its list of premium eats, including revered restaurants like Gordon Ramsey's Lucky Cat Asian (119 Washington Ave.), Kissaki (500 South Pointe Dr. Suite 160), a Japanese dining spot, and Casa Matilda (411 Washington Ave.), a fancy steakhouse in Harrison Hotel.
Locals also anticipate the landing of the Mediterranean hotspot Motek on the former site of Prime Fish and the restaurants of Catch Miami Beach and La Grande Boucherie in SoFi later this year!
