It was an absolute privilege and honor to speak to all of you at Excellence about email marketing with Jimmy Mackin. Everything about the conference FAR exceeded my expectations. We are all extremely blessed to be a part of this community.

Below are some questions that I’ve been asked in the past that I didn't have time to address in the talk.

1. How often should I email my past clients? 
I email past clients only once a month. If there is some major news, then perhaps email them twice. Since you have already moved this group of individuals to their new home, you do not need to update them as often.

I would highly recommend sending them a small gift once a year on a random day just saying you were thinking about them. You will be surprised how grateful they are to you.

2. How often should I email ALL of my contacts? 
I email everyone on my list (minus Realtors) at least once a month. Even though this list is large and the open rates and click thru rates will suffer a lot because of the size, it doesn’t matter.

Even if the person receiving the email doesn’t open it, your name will still be seen and you will be remembered over time.

3. How can I increase my open rates and click thru rates immediately? 
On your next email, only select the people that have opened your email in the last 14 days and remove past clients. I would be extremely surprised if your stats for this email weren't higher than your last email. (Let me know how this works for you).

4. How do I take my email marketing to the next level? 
It’s actually pretty simple. Make sure to make it a priority to send emails every single week with information that benefits the person receiving it. If you don’t know what information that is, use Brain to see the best emails sent.

****PRO TIP****

We all go to conferences/events meeting many other agents that we hope to work referrals with. We usually end up getting a bunch of business cards and never doing much with them and not getting that many referrals.

This email will show your willingness to send the other agent business because you are specifically asking them the areas they cover, and you will also be retargeting them with your ads (because they went on your website and opened your blog). Because of that, your name will stay fresh in their mind😉
